      When Lloyd Hopkins Sr formed a family with Eleanor Baumgartner, Eleanor welcomed Lois into the family. But when their daughter Eleanor was born, Lois was mean to her, even sticking pins in her. At that point, Lloyd and Eleanor decided to adopt Lois out. In later years Lois tried to come back but was not welcomed.

      Discussed Lloyd's child Lois from prior to Eleanor Baumgartner. After Lloyd and Eleanor were together, Lloyd adopted out his previous child Lois to Leo and Hazel Meyers. But it "didn't work out well for Lois".
