Notes |
- Biograpical information: A redhead with a temper. Died with influenza aftre the birth of her sixth child Emma Jane. Was brought to the Philadelphia area after her mother died in a fire. Her hair caught on fire while she was brushing it by candlelight. Her father never came from Missouri to visit her. The Taylor clan in Missouri never went along with the Missouri Compromise. They vigorously fought the Union Army. There was a bounty on their heads if they ever came East. Sam Taylor, a lawyer, was the father of Julia who was raised near Philadelphia by Sam's sister. From Elizabeth Jane Thorpe.
